I love this app. very fast, stable and powerful

So far really love this app, can see all my servers. Ability to create and edit playlists a huge plus, just press and hold file.

If you need a multiformat player, this is it.

This player is garbage, cannot play video files. A lot of problems with audio or video. Its absolutely useless. I just wondering why apple let this kind of software existing on App Store. So disappointed, I wish I could get my money…

Used it with several servers and worked well with all of them. The custom player even displays subtitles, but performance is slower than native player. Sometimes you need to download the movie to the device if high bitrate.

I run "PS3 Media Server" on my Windows computer and 8 Player streams movies, music, pictures perfectly. I then Airplay to Apple TV connected to an amplifier for fantastic sound. Excellent app!

This app has a particular but functional interface. Support lots of types of files that dont have copyright restrictions. Works well with my NAS for streaming video and audio. Developer has been supporting and updating the app since it was first launched (more than 3 years ago).

8 player is just plain incredible. Download it and enjoy it. I have been using it for approximately 3 years now and it is still the heart of my home theatre setup. Using a simple file server with Serviio installed, I can push content using 8 Player to any of my TVs instantly and reliably. Reliably! - cant understate this. Control the playback, skip back to your original TV input by just ending the playback from the phone. And youre not relying on your phone to stream the content - it is just directing the TV to pull the content from the media server. Elegant. Paired with remote desktop apps to download content to your media server you can have someone recommend a movie, download it remotely and have it ready to play when you get home from work and push the content to your tv in a couple seconds instead of fiddling with your tv interface or firing up a console/box.

Try a lot of players,only this one is working very well with my media server, which is coming with my ASUS RT-N16 router (tomato firmware). So I bought it. Hope new version supporting subtitle coming up earlier. Eventually,it supports Dolby. Thanks! Great work.

Used to be my favourite. However, the player no longer works well with home media streaming connections. Very unstable and unable to connect at all.

Simply the best for dlna and server access. I can access my unix servers my dlna music and videos and photos. All my family uses this app. Excellent.

With the latest update, m4v videos got unable to be played in my environment. iPhone4 iOS6.0.1. Please fix this issue.

他のdlnaプレイヤーで見る場合でもそうなんだが、wifiをリリースするか、一度wifiをoff/onすればサーバーが見つかる場合が多い iPhone5/iPad4/iPad3/iPod touch4 iOS6.0.1 touch4の場合は6にしてからのメモリー不足の方が問題 上記対策は 8player/Fusion Stream/ML Player で確認済みです まあiOS側の問題だと思った方が良いね。 追加 Fing などのAPPを使った方が楽です Fingを起動するとネットワーク情報が表示されますので、サーバーを選択し ScanServicesでポートスキャンしながらプレイヤーを起動するとすぐ見つけれます。 現在は、Fingと各種プレイヤーを起動し、ポートスキャンしプレイヤーに切り替えて 使用しています。

Its does not work on my iPad mini recently. But it work well on my iPof touch 4th generation.

VOBファイルの再生目的の人は買うべからず、アップデートすべからず。このバージョン(2.11.6)では、VOBファイルで使われている音声フォーマットへの対応が唐突に削除されています。 法律的な問題との言い訳だが、こういうライセンス費用も含めての、ソフトの値段だろうが。 If youre trying to play VOB files with this software, dont buy this, dont update this. In this version(2.11.6), support for some audio codecs used in VOB files were suddenly deleted without any notice. You say that its due to legal reasons, but isnt those kind of licencee fee included in the software prices??

Lost function: can not load image files throug network.

I received this error for some multi audio mkv files. Think twice before you buy !
